Mary Burgan is the owner of Milano Railway Logistics, a local central export business. They specialize in shipping products via railroad, which are then loaded onto trucks for delivery. ๐
Mrs. Burgan has entrepreneurship in her blood and works closely with her two younger siblings in their family business of processing iron. โGood mentors will give you the answers of life.โ Throughout her life, Mary has compiled a list of top life lessons, which she has lived by and shared with us. One of her core beliefs is, โTo be authentic,โ because people can tell when you're pretending to be something you're not. Another powerful lesson she shared is, โLive with urgency,โ because time is something you can never get back. She also advises, โBreak out of your routine to get different results. Mary shared many more lessons with us, but my personal favorites were: โYou want to fail, because failure is only your First Attempt In Learningโ (FAIL), and โHumble people donโt think less of themselves; they think of themselves less.โ ๐ก
These lessons highlight the importance of embracing challenges and staying grounded in humility. To further illustrate the importance of humility, Mary read our class an old fable: โIf you try to please all, you will please none.โ It was a beautiful reminder that in life and business, staying true to yourself and your values is far more important than trying to meet everyoneโs expectations. Thank you, Mary Burgan, for joining our class and showing us your passion, dedication, and wisdom in entrepreneurship. Your words have left an inspiring impact on all of us! ๐
