Tuesday, November 26th, the Jefferson County CEO class had the honor of visiting Pyramid Powder Coating in Mt. Vernon.

“Well, what is powder coating?” You may be asking yourself. Powder coating is a dry-finishing process used on various metal objects that is significantly more durable than paint. Powder coating is unique because it offers a wide range in variety of colors and textures to apply to the metal, is more environmentally friendly, and resists corrosion, unlike other methods applied to metals.

Mr. Ryan Storey, along with his wife Jamie, are the owners of the business. While they only have a few employees, they always deliver on their promises to customers, and go above-and-beyond.

You would be surprised to learn that Mr. Storey was not always in the Powder coating industry. When his father-in-law decided to stop his powder coating production, Mr. and Mrs. Storey discussed taking it over, and so the ultimate decision was that Mr. Storey decided to buy the business. Developing a passion for his business, learning quickly, and magnificent customer service has made Pyramid Powder Coating a very successful business.

Thank you for letting us tour your business and learn about powder coating!
