Had an amazing visit to SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital with the Jefferson County CEO group! Day one was full of valuable discussions with an incredible administrative team, including President Damon Harbison, Monica Heinzman (Administration), John Snodsmith (Finance), Hollie Colle (Operations), Barb Gowler (Human Resources), and Danielle Thompson (Nursing). Their leadership and commitment to excellence in healthcare are inspiring!
On day two, our future entrepreneurs had the opportunity to choose from four specialized tours of the hospital, exploring areas based on their personal interests: healthcare administration/business, clinical operations, non-clinical operations, and nursing. President Harbison shared a powerful analogy, explaining how the hospital operates like a city, requiring many diverse roles and responsibilities to keep things running smoothly.
It was an insightful experience that highlighted the importance of collaboration across all areas of healthcare!
