On a recent business visit to Frost Aesthetics, our young entrepreneurs heard from owner and nurse practitioner Allison Frost about how she transitioned from her role as a nurse into the role of a business owner. Allison recognized a need in the community and based her business around the need for TRT, testosterone replacement therapy. Besides TRT, her practice offers other services such as Botox, chemical peels, facials and more.
Allison spent some time talking about how networking has been an instrumental strategy to her overall success. Joining the Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce, attending local community events, and getting to know the key players in the community has helped her grow her business. She also spoke of the flexibility that being a business owner provides as well as some of the challenges, especially for someone who doesn't have a background in business.
Thank you, Allison, for the hospitality and investing in our students!
