Ice cream for breakfast anyone? This morning the CEO class got the opportunity to go visit the pride and joy of Dix, IL, Yellin' Helen's. Yellin Helen’s was established in 2020 and ever since then it has thrived! From going to get ice cream for your birthday to weekly visits to get their delicious ice cream, Yellin Helen’s has affected the community tremendously.

Ms. Jean Allen and Ms. Joy Renaud talked to the class about how at their business they are more focused on using their ice cream shop to bring the community together for ministry, gatherings, concerts or to just hang out. “What’s more important than money is human connection.” Ms. Allen told the class that she would rather put out a product that people could afford rather than have a trip to Yellin Helen’s be an expensive and once every few weeks visit.

Thank you to Ms. Jean Allen and Ms. Joy Renaud for sharing about their business and for the fantastic ice cream!🍦
